Our yard is finally done and I could not be happier. I am excited about how it turned out and we are NO LONER the only house on the street with a dirt yard! Here are some before and after pics!
Because our lovely lot is on a steep hill we wanted to dig down along the house, take out the window wells and push the dirt back to make it level.

They put in a four foot wall along the back and side of our yard to level it out...

In the front of our house, which is also a dirt hill, we did this...

I love how the stairs turned out!

We prepped it for a walkout basement which will come later.
put in some planter boxes!!! I'm so excited for my garden!
and put in a concrete pad on the side so you can have a place to park when you come to visit us!
Now we need to finish the house off with cement so we don't have the ugly tar look, oh well:-)
Yay!! We have a yard! Now I just want it to green up a bit and wait to two weeks so I can walk on it!

Hey Christie! Good to hear from you. Your yard looks fabulous. I bet it is so nice having it all done. I miss you and the team so much. I am not looking forward to teaching in a new school somewhere. That is if I get a job, but hopefully I can still do a lot of the fun things we did!
